Three questions for Michael
Behind each of our products are people who work every day to help make everyday life a little easier for disabled children and teens. We would like to introduce you to some of these people in our series “Three questions for …”.
Today, we’d like to introduce you to Michael Keller. Michael has been working at Schuchmann for 31 years in the production department, specifically with the madita family. Many of the products you have at home were built by Michael.
1. Michael, how long have you been working at Schuchmann?
I have been working in production at Schuchmann for 31 years and particularly appreciate the flexibility and variety in my day-to-day work. We build many different products here in production. My main area is madita. assembly, but I also help out in other areas from time to time.
2. What’s your favorite food?
That’s a really difficult question for me to answer. I’m a trained chef and still a passionate amateur cook, so choosing just one dish is not easy. Off the top of my head, I would say leg of venison with red cabbage and dumplings. We don’t eat that very often, so it’s something special for me.
3. What has been your best moment at Schuchmann?
From a product designer’s point of view, the madita. is my favourite product. I enjoy building it because the therapy chair is a tried-and-tested, sophisticated product. Its sturdy base makes it very easy to handle and quick to assemble.
Thank you, Michael, for this little insight into your day-to-day work and for your many years of dedication to Schuchmann.
