till. offers many advantages

The height adjustable supine standing frame helps when transferring from a lying to a standing position.

Our developers have been working on till. for more than three years, making changes and testing it under real conditions. It was worth it, because now Fimo is happy. While he was standing in till., his sister Jaelle threw balls at him, which he caught while laughing loudly. Suddenly Jaelle remarked, “I didn’t know he was as big as me!” For the first time, the children met each other at eye level as in his old standing frame Fimo’s feet had not been close to the floor.

till. promotes development and health

Standing is important for the development of the body’s structures: weight bearing stimulates bone growth and density. In addition, regular standing has a positive influence on other health and well-being factors such as digestion and breathing. Specific muscles are challenged and developed when using standing frames – including those of the torso, back, legs and shoulders region. As the inclination is adjusted the child’s perception of their surroundings changes too, they can see and react to their surroundings much better. That is why till. is not only a good support during the therapy session. But also in everyday life.

A matter of adjustment

With its numerous adjustment options, till. adapts precisely to the shape of the body – from head to toe. The legs can be abducted up to 30 degrees bilaterally. In addition, the knee angle can be adjusted up to 65 degrees and the hip angle up to 45 degrees allowing for supported standing with knee flexion contractures. The footplate can also be adjusted precisely to the childs feet. Also, as with all Schuchmann products, there are a comprehensive range of compatible accessories.

Comfortable, safe and up to any situation

Thanks to the five castors, the standing aid can be moved from A to B. The frame is shaped to allow easy access for mobile hoists and the height adjustment feature offers a good manual handling working height. This allows the childs parent, carer or therapist to ensure support is correct while the child is in a safe supine position without comprimising their own posture. For playful or therapeutic purposes, an optional table can be attached. The till. can therefore cope with almost any situation and is a versatile companion in everyday life.
