Three questions for Craig

Behind each of our products are people who work every day to help make everyday life a little easier for disabled children and teens. We would like to introduce you to some of these people in our series “Three questions for …”.

Today we are introducing our new Product Specialist, Craig Ward. He will be taking care of your needs in the regions of Cumbria, Northumberland, Durham, Tyne and Wear, North Lancashire, North Yorks, East Riding, and West Yorks. Craig brings many years of industry experience with him. A warm welcome to Craig!

1. What professional experience has shaped you the most?

I have almost 30years experience of being a product specialist in this wonderful industry,with so many grounding and special moments. One of my most memorable moments was enabling a child with a total spinal cord injury to ambulate through using a partial weight bearing product called LiteGait. This is comprised of a slow moving tread mill and hoist like support system. The child was able to be upright and through manipulation walk on the treadmill surface. He was very proud of himself and his parents were very emotional, as was I. I walked out with a feeling of real achievement, extreme pride and priveldege for working with such wonderful children.

2. Which country did you visit most recently, and why?

I have just returned from Mexico ,this was for a couple of weeks of luxury and gorgeous weather!

3. Do you have a favorite product from Schuchmann?

My favourite piece of equipment by Schuchmann is the till. ,this is a very well designed and clinically sound and allows children and adults who are at serious risk of not being able to stand to continue with all the benefits standing therapy offers.
