Three questions for David

At Schuchmann, we manufacture innovative therapy equipment. Behind each of these products are people who work every day to help make everyday life a little easier for disabled children and teens. We would like to introduce you to some of these people in our series “Three questions for …”. We’ll start with our head of sales David.

Your profile:

David Tollerfield, I have just turned 40, I live in Sheffield, Head of Sales Schuchmann UK, I started working for Schuchmann in September 2016.

What is your favourite Schuchmann product?

I love the todd. Seeing children getting around in a standing position when they haven’t been able to in the past always gives me goosebumps!

What was your best moment at Schuchmann?

This involves todd. too! In 2019 a little boy set us a challenge to get him his new todd. to him in time for his school sports day which was only 3 weeks away. We managed it (just) and got it set up for him just in time, it was only delivered to school on the morning of his sports day. He was able to join in with his friends in the egg and spoon race which was so amazing for him! His mum sent me a video of it afterwards which was great to see.

Do you prefer summer or winter?

Summer for sure, I like to be outside but I don’t like to be cold! Plus there is nothing better than a summer BBQ!!!
