In the past, there were occasional instances where the armrests on smilla. slipped under load. This feedback was taken directly into further development. We listened—and upgraded.

Our design and development team completely redesigned the armrest with one clear goal: maximum stability in everyday clinical use.

The result: armrests with elephant-strength stability.

The new armrest 2.0 is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic, making it extremely robust, and durable. The clamping surfaces that grip the smilla. frame tube have been enlarged and fitted with a rubber lining to prevent slipping. This keeps the armrest securely in place—even when a child supports their full body weight on it.

Same operation, just better.

The material has been optimized and the design refined, while the simple functionality remains unchanged. Using the manni. rotary grip, the armrest can still be adjusted continuously in height. It stays firmly in place.
